Start National Protect Your Identity Week with free document shredding and cell phone recycling at Better Business Bureau’s Secure Your ID Day on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012.
- Drive up and drop off up to three bags or boxes of documents per person, which will be securely shredded on site. (No cardboard, three-ring binders or damp materials.)
- Verizon’s HopeLine will be recycling old cell phones, which will be wiped and donated to domestic violence victims.

- As part of the Financial Fitness Fair, several local financial institutions and community organizations will be available to provide free workshops, credit checks, budgeting and credit counseling.
- There will also be family entertainment, door prizes and snacks.
