• Inform fraudulent companies in our service area and business scams that are occurring both locally and nationally.
• Supply Reliability Reports of a business you need information on in the Alaska, Oregon or Western Washington marketplace. This includes the company's contact information, personnel, business history, and any pattern of problems or complaints BBB has had with the company.
• Provide helpful consumer tips to avoid fraud and make informed purchasing decisions.
• Supply a list of BBB member companies by industry category, as well as provide a list of companies with unsatisfactory records within an industry.
• Provide contact names and numbers for other local regulatory/government agencies and Better Business Bureau's across the United States and Canada.
• Provide the BBB's "Top 20" complained against/inquired about industries on a quarterly basis.
• Provide inquiry and complaint numbers for specific industries or type of business.
